Itinerary

Day 1: Hike to Mandara Hut and back to park gate

After breakfast, you’ll meet your professional guide and transfer to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate to register. Begin trekking through the montane rainforest toward Mandara Hut, enjoying the sights of colobus monkeys and abundant birdlife. A side visit to Maundi Crater allows you to take in panoramic views of Northern Tanzania and Kenya. After lunch at Mandara Hut, you’ll descend back to the park gate and transfer to Moshi or Arusha.
